About Dr. Craig Wagstaff
Craig Wagstaff was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and grew up in Kelowna, B.C. He graduated from Kelowna Senior Secondary High School and then the University of Victoria in Victoria, B.C. from where he graduated with degrees in psychology and science. Craig went on to the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, Portland, Oregon and graduated in 1982 with his degree in naturopathic medicine.
Craig’s naturopathic practice is family focused with creation of health programs specific to the individual person. Non-invasive testing and treatment methods, and a gentle approach to young, elder and sensitive individuals, make Craig a favourite practitioner with both patients and family members. Craig’s therapy goal is maximizing wellness through the lifespan.
Craig is well known as an innovator in using a variety of European natural treatment methods and is always on the look out for emerging medical developments. He was one of the first practitioners in North American to incorporate a variety of German therapeutics (Vega, Mora, Sanum and Psychosomatic Energetics) and phenolic testing (neurotransmitters, food chemicals, hormones) and desensitizing into his practice. His keen interest in learning and incorporating new modalities into practice have made him a most successful and sought after practitioner with patients attending the clinic from locations all over the world.
Craig is particularly supportive of naturopathic students and new graduates and offers many learning and practice opportunities annually to beginning practitioners. He invests many practice hours in both teaching and learning. Craig is licensed to practice in British Columbia, and Alberta and he maintains a satellite clinic in Alberta.
